In the time of Eliyahu there was great persecution of the Remnant of Yashar’el in all the land. All who held fast to the ancient pathway were persecuted in horrible ways by King Ahab and his wicked wife Jeze’baal.
1 Kings 18:4 “For it was so, when Jeze’baal cut off the prophets of יהוה, that Obadiah took an hundred prophets, and hid them by fifty in a cave, and fed them with bread and water.)”
Eliyahu went to Ahab and told him there would be NO RAIN except by the word of Elohim and the drought throughout the land was severe such that all of the people suffered because of the judgment of יהוה Elohim by the hand of his servant Eliyahu.
1 Kings 17:1 “And Eliyahu the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As יהוה Elohim of Yashar’el liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.”
So Ahab King of Yashar’el sent throughout all the land to find Eliyahu thinking that if he just KILLED the Prophet that he could somehow reverse the curse put upon his kingdom.
This is exactly how your adversary thinks as Messiah himself taught and was demonstrated in the acts of these wicked spirits.
Not only did King Ahab look throughout all of Yashar’el but indeed sent word to many nations making them assure him that they were not harboring Eliyahu for he sought his life.
When the time appointed for the confrontation had arrived, King Ahab did not have to look for Eliyahu any longer because the time of defensive evasive action was over.
This is a sober thought that many do not understand. The Remnant of Yashar’el shall not always be on the defensive. At some point Elohim will call for confrontation and the demise of all who oppose HIS sovereign will.
יהוה Elohim sent Eliyahu directly to Ahab to let him know to his face without fear that the time of confrontation had arrived.
1 Kings 18:17-20 “And it came to pass, when Ahab saw Eliyahu, that Ahab said unto him, Art thou he that troubleth Yashar’el?
18 And he answered, I have not troubled Yashar’el; but thou, and thy father’s house, in that ye have forsaken the commandments of יהוה, and thou hast followed Baalim.
19 Now therefore send, and gather to me all Yashar’el unto mount Carmel, and the prophets of Baal four hundred and fifty, and the prophets of the groves four hundred, which eat at Jeze’baal’s table.
20 So Ahab sent unto all the children of Yashar’el, and gathered the prophets together unto mount Carmel.”
As you watch the confrontation unfold you would have seen a great gathering on mount Carmel where a large “fellowship” of the false prophets of “the Lord” or Baal would unite with the false prophets “of the groves” which were worshippers of Ashoreth.
Eliyahu stood alone against this large group who were in league one with another to deceive the people of Yashar’el. Little did they know that this confrontation would be their brutal and bloody demise.
What you may not have seen is that these false prophets were establishing a “new” place of worship for the people and they worked very hard to get everyone to join their Baal revival.
1 Kings 18:23-24 “Let them therefore give us two bullocks; and let them choose one bullock for themselves, and cut it in pieces, and lay it on wood, and put no fire under: and I will dress the other bullock, and lay it on wood, and put no fire under:
And call ye on the name of your elohim, and I will call on the name of יהוה: and the Elohim that answereth by fire, let him be Elohim. And all the people answered and said, It is well spoken.”
The proposal was a simple one that would clear up once and for all who the people should worship.
Eliyahu was greatly despised by the false prophets and they were more than eager to show him to be powerless. Yet it was a trap that they fell into. In their arrogance was their demise.
With arrogance did they gather on the hill opposite to Eliyahu. They were confident that they would emerge victorious over this single prophet that NONE OF THEM LIKED.
So it is when the arrogant confront the humble servants of Yah. They presume through the lens of their own arrogance that their opposition is the same as themselves. They were deadly wrong.
All 850 of these false prophets and preachers of deceit, disobedience, and devil worshipers spent the day calling on Baal/LORD Gad …. to no avail.
To their increased frustration, Eliyahu began to mock them.
1 Kings 18:27-29 “And it came to pass at noon, that Eliyahu mocked them, and said, Cry aloud: for he is a god; either he is talking, or he is pursuing, or he is in a journey, or peradventure he sleepeth, and must be awaked.28 And they cried aloud, and cut themselves after their manner with knives and lancets, till the blood gushed out upon them.29 And it came to pass, when midday was past, and they prophesied until the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that there was neither voice, nor any to answer, nor any that regarded.”
All day long they called upon Baal/LORD Gad to no avail. They “prophesied” and shouted, cut themselves and exhausted themselves in their false doctrine of devils and no fire fell.
The people were seeing this and little by little the crowd began to move. They were being utterly embarrassed by one man … standing alone.
The more the false prophets shouted the more the people realized that they were powerless.
It was here that Eliyahu goes on the offensive and look at what he does.
1 Kings 18:30-31 “And Eliyahu said unto all the people, Come near unto me. And all the people came near unto him. And he repaired the altar of יהוה that was broken down.And Eliyahu took twelve stones, according to the number of the tribes of the sons of Yaacob, unto whom the word of יהוה came, saying, Yashar’el shall be thy name:”
Notice that Eliyahu does NOT establish some new place of worship or new doctrines. No, Eliyahu REPAIRED the altar of יהוה that had already been there from long ago. It had been torn down in defiance and rebellion.
For sake of new doctrines of devils, the people had forsaken the ancient pathways.
Eliyahu took 12 stones according to the number of the tribes of the sons of Yaacob. This was not a new altar. This was established long before.
Isaiah 58:12 “And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.”
The people had forgotten the ancient ways and as these false prophets had all but replaced the doctrine of Elohim with their false doctrines of Baal/LORD Gad. They needed Elohim’s anointed to show the way.
With great wisdom Eliyahu restores the ancient altar of Elohim. This is what is happening today.
To which altar did יהוה Elohim respond?
יהוה responded to the ancient altar of the 12 tribes and not the altar of the imposters. All their “revival” was false puffery in an attempt to have a spiritual experience. It cost them all their lives as Yashar’el saw once and for all who the fakes were.
So enraged was Jeze’baal that she swore in her wrath to kill Eliyahu the prophet … but instead she was eaten by the dogs.
For those who have no respect for such things, they will mock and scoff at the anointed of Elohim as they did in the days of Jeze’baal.
Having continued in false doctrine, they will require great signs of judgment for the eyes of the blind to be opened once more.
The Altar Of 12 Stones
Where in North America will you find, on set-apart land, in any high place, a 12 stone altar to יהוה Elohim?
Where will this confrontation be witnessed again, should the need arise, if there are no places where the people can see the difference between the false prophets and Elohim’s anointed?
Where is that which is set apart unto יהוה without compromise?
I know of only one place. It is on the line of the Mount of Olives at 4,200 feet. It is set apart and the NAME of יהוה Elohim is lifted high above this set-apart land.
Ezekiel 44:23-24 “And they shall teach my people the difference between the holy and profane, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean.
And in controversy they shall stand in judgment; and they shall judge it according to my judgments: and they shall keep my laws and my statutes in all mine assemblies; and they shall hallow my sabbaths.”
At NewKingdom we are rebuilding the 12 stone altar unto יהוה Tzeva’ot and we have plenty of land for another altar to be constructed should the need for confrontation arise again.
The 12 stone altar is reconstructed in the ways of the ancient path, on set-apart land by יהוה Elohim’s anointed.
Let the “fellowship” of all “churchianity” come and place their offerings on the altar they have chosen to Baal/LORD Gad.
They may have all day to call down fire. WE will watch and wait.
Like Eliyahu, the Zadok Remnant of Yashar’el will wait until the time of the Evening Sacrifice … which portens the end of the age … and call upon the Name of יהוה Elohim.
The Elohim that answers with FIRE … Let HIM be Elohim.
