Prayer is a very strong weapon that we have, but many, because the answer isn't what they want, think they weren't heard or God isn't listening. With full trust and faith every storm that comes up prayer and praise should be one of the first weapons used. It should be used before the storm hits...

His answers may not be what you want to hear or what you think should happen, but our thoughts aren't His thoughts and our ways aren't His ways. Trust in Him and He is ever faithful, we are the ones that move and change, not Him, we are the ones that are rebellious and disobedient, not Him. We are the ones that are faithless, never Him.

Many of us are fighting against Him while He is fighting for us, yet we blame Him for our troubles and our decision not to listen. We don't even realize we're doing it most of the time, because we only pray when we're in trouble and not about the decisions that lead to that trouble.

We need to start truly loving God, and not just His promises or what we get from Him. To love Him is to listen and obey, so be hearers AND doers not just hearers only.

To do that we have to stand in the gap for the ones just coming out of the darkness. We have to become a mouthpiece and a light to those that are still struggling. Speak life and love over those waking up, and those that are interceding.
