What a wild and amazing day! I love when YAHUAH shows His power! We had no electricity at home or at the restaurant but Yadah YAHUAH we have a generator. Rob spent the night at the restaurant keeping an eye on the generator. Another storm rolled through that knocked out cell service in town. We were without communication for a few hours so I put the boys in the car, grabbed a gas can and went to look for Rob. All kavod to YAHUAH, he was fine and we needed up meeting halfway. Thank you to my brother and sister for praying with me for his safety.
After that we went home for a quick breakfast and then back to town to the restaurant. After realizing the electricity was not coming back when they anticipated, we had to come up with a plan. We decided since we have a gas stove, no electricity was no reason to give up. We did a limited menu, cash and takeout only and we honored a reservation we had for the evening. YAHUAH is so amazing yall we were even able to serve ice cream during a power outage 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽!
After getting all cleaned up we made a plan for checking on the generator and making sure we had our food prepared for the double Shabbat without electricity at home. We had to calculate how much gas we would need to make it through the next two days. We went to 3 gas stations and Yadah YAHUAH two of them had 5 gallon cans 🙌🏽
Rob beat the boys and I home by a few minutes. I sat in the car and glanced at Facebook and saw that the city had restored electricity in town! I ran in to tell Rob and a moment later our electricity was restored as well! HalleluYah!
What a day! We are SO ready for Shabbat!!!! 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
