We must remember above all things, we move at the command of our King - not by sight, not by feeling.
If the enemy seeks to entice you away from your post - even if it seems like a direct order, hold fast. Check FIRST. If you want to know where you are supposed to be or who belongs to Him, all we need to do is ASK and YAHUAH is merciful and faithful to answer.
Each of us serves Him at His pleasure. Each of us lives and breathes at HIS pleasure. Sometimes we get one Word that must last us a long time. Sometimes a soldier gets one order which they must carry out even in the face of a changing battle. Stand your ground. We cannot see what He sees.
Remain at the post HE assigned you - unless and until you receive a direct order from HIM.
Isaiah 35: 35 The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; and the desert shall simcha and blossom as the rose.
2 It shall blossom abundantly and gilah even with simcha and singing: the tifereth of Levanon shall be given to it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon, they shall see the tifereth of HWHY and the excellency of our Ahlohim.
3 Strengthen the weak hands and make firm the feeble knees.
4 Say to them that are of a fearful lev, Be strong and fear not: see, your Ahlohim will come with vengeance, even Ahlohim with a recompense; He will come and save you.
5 Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened and the ears of the deaf shall be opened.
6 Then shall the lame man leap as a hart and the tongue of the dumb shir: for in the wilderness shall mayim break out and streams in the desert.
7 And the parched ground shall become a pool and the thirsty land springs of mayim: in the home of jackals, where each one lay, there shall be grass with reeds and rushes.
8 And a highway shall be there and a Derech and it shall be called The Derech of set apartness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those who have their walk in The Derech: even wayward fools shall not go astray in it.
9 No lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go up on it, they shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall have their walk there:
10 And the ransomed of HWHY shall return and come to Tzion with shirim and everlasting simcha upon their heads: they shall obtain simcha upon simcha and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.
Hebrews 12: 12 Therefore lift up the hands that hang down and the feeble knees;
13 And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the derech; but let it rather be healed.
14 Follow shalom with all men and set apartness-kedushah, without which no man shall see HWHY:
15 Taking heed lest any man fall short of the chen of HWHY; lest any root of bitterness spring up to harm you and by which many be defiled;
16 Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esav, who for one morsel of meat sold his bechora.
17 For you know how that afterwards, when he would have inherited the bracha, he was rejected: for he had no chance of recovering it, though he sought it carefully with tears.
18 For you have not come to the har that might be touched and that burned with fire, nor to blackness and darkness and tempest,

22 But you have come to Har Tzion and to the city of the living Ahloha, the heavenly Yahrushalayim and to an innumerable multitude of heavenly malachim,
23 To the gathering and kehilla of the bachorim, that is enrolled in the shamayim and to HWHY the Shophet of all and to the ruachim of tzadikim made perfect,
24 And to OSWHY-HWHY the Mediator of the Brit Chadasha and to the dahm of sprinkling, that speaks better things than that of Hevel.
25 See that you refuse Him not that speaks. For if they escaped not who refused him that spoke on earth, how much more shall we not escape, if we turn away from Him that speaks from the shamayim:
26 Whose voice then shook the earth: but now He has promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also the shamayim.
27 And this Word, Yet once more, signifies the removing of those things that are shaken, the things that have been made, so that those things that cannot be shaken may remain.
28 Therefore receiving a malchut that cannot be moved, let us have chen, by which we may serve HWHY acceptably with reverence and fear:
29 For our Ahloha is a consuming fire.
