If you would have told me 4 years ago, that I would fly 1800 miles away from home, ALONE, to be with people whom I’d never met, I never would have believed you.
Besides that, if you would have told me that they’d love me and I them as much as I would my very own family… impossible! How could it be so?
But yet, Yahuah!
His WORD says “You will know them by their fruit”.
I was treated with nothing short of a deep love, respect and consideration. Not just by my hosts, but by every single brother and sister whom I had the honor and privilege of sharing the week with. I deeply loved and respected every single one of them and they me.
There was not even the tiniest bit of pretense, self righteousness, or ego. Every interaction was filled with humility, openness, authenticity, and vulnerability.
It was like going to a family reunion excited to meet all the family you’ve never met! I can only imagine what it’ll be like stepping into the Kingdom of Yahuah, getting to know every brother and sister!! Oh what a day that’ll be!!
I left a piece of my heart in that desert and I brought home more love than I deserve.
Why anyone thinks or would want to do this walk alone, is beyond me! It’s not about loving perfect people, it’s about perfectly loving one another while we strive to step hand in hand together into His Kingdom.
Let us always walk in love, respect, and in a way that brings honor to our KING!
